Generally speaking, natural elements and electronic contraptions certainly do not go hand in hand. As a matter of fact, they form contrasting domains of discipline applicable in a myriad of fields, ranging from commodities to household items. But designer Omar Deutsch has uniquely and rather fascinatingly conjured up a special system that fuses an electronic computer with a natural plant. Transcending to that ‘holy grail’ of combining naturalism with electronics, the designer has devised a water resistant computer which can house a pack of germinating seeds along with some quantity of soil. The growing plants can be nourished inside this enclosed electronic system, thus exhibiting an antithesis of natural dynamism and artificial permanence. The contraption will also feature a cooling mechanism, which would help in nurturing the plants.
Though we are not sure about the practicality of such a conception, the sheer uniqueness and futurism embodied by this design could brak new ground in the coming times. A dual system that combines naturalistic vitality and technological edge can be the groundwork for more evolved versions of the same mechanism, which can serve a wide range of functionalities in the future.
