Time Stretch project shows the Time on Ceiling

Designed by Scott Young, a Detroit-based designer, designed this unique clock that looks like a smoke detector which will project the hands of clock around the entire room. Scott said that before the invention of the clock or other time telling devices, people used to read the time of day by watching the sun above. Inspired by this tradition, Scott has designed an innovative timepiece to channel this tradition on a smaller scale. Time Stretch will also challenge the way we have now been taught to tell time. This clock will also become a unique décor element in any living space through the strategically placed beams of light.
