Mercedes SLK Aphelios Was Inspired by a fish

The Mercedes SLK Aphelios is designed by designer Apostol Tnokovski wich is a fish-inspired sports car that looks surprisingly great. Automotive designers are seeking inspiration from the animal, but using fish as the inspiration is not usual for fashion sports car. This was designed after the Ohrid trout, a fish found only in Macedonia’s Ohrid Lake. The Ohrid trout’s grace and speed underwater gave the SLK Aphelios its shape, and its silver scales gave the car its matte silver coloring. This concept also features a massive window that runs front to back to give passengers a better view of the outside world.
