Qugo Personal Transporter by Silvestris

Qugo manufactured by a new company, 'Urban Mobility Europe' with the strategic partner Silvestris. The idea for a vehicle like Qugo found its roots in the desire to contribute to the growing demand for electric urban transportation. A fundamental choice was made to aim at personal transport to provide easy and comfortable drive. This is like skiing on the road. The front wheel driven Qugo has two smaller rear wheels on swing arms connected to a balance wheel. This balance wheel reacts to the behavior of the driver in a passive manor. This means that there is no electronic intervention to maintain balance. The driver is in charge of the leaning of the Qugo as much as he is in charge on a bicycle. A lithium ion battery pack supplies the energy for the constant magnetic, direct current ,in wheel motor. Maximum allowed speed of 25 km/h for most countries. The frame is made out of aluminium to ensure a lightweight and durable construction. Weight starts at 25 kilo depending on the chosen specification.
