Nissan to debut its 370zki snowmobile concept

Nissan plans to debut its modified 370zki snowmobile concept at the 2018 Chicago auto show. the 370zki is the modified version of the ten-year-old 370z.

The snow carving roadster has a dominator track at the rear coupled by a skid plate on the front. to make this possible the entire drivetrain was first removed by the existing 370z and then a custom-made lift kit is used to lift the vehicle up to 3 inches to add room for the tracks.

The suspension was also lightly modified for the taller ride height, and the automaker had to fabricate some adapters to make sure the front skis could actually turn, and in addition to that, the front skid plate also claims to mitigate damages.
