Honda unveiled Micro Commuter concept at the Tokyo Motor Show 2011. The tiny city car measures at 2,500 in length, 1,250 mm in width and 1,430 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1.8 meters. Like all other concept cars at this year’s show, this one too is obsessed with connectivityfeatures and customizable exterior panels. It’s not as sophisticated as the color displays of Toyota Fun-Vii, but you cans till show graphics and messages on your car. We’re still trying to figure out what’s the benefit of that. Obviously, the car is an electric vehicle with a 16.7 kW electric motor and a 3.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It has regenerative brakes, but the batteries can also be removed and connected to a main like a laptop! The performance is only enough for inter-city commute as the range is 60 km on one charge and the 0 to 60 km/h takes more than 7 seconds. 100 km/h isn’t really possible.
