Dubai Crescent Moon Tower

Dubai "Crescent Moon Tower" is an architectural design project concept submitted at 11th ThyssenKrup Elevator Architecture Award created and developed by the Transparent House team. This structure is proposed to signify the new face of Dubai, promote tourism, recreational, scientific and cultural activities. Designer's intent for the tall emblem structure reflects both the historical roots of Dubai and its contemporary state and embody the unity of the two. The shape of the building is a crescent which identifies Dubai as belonging to the Islamic world. The building was designed to accommodate a children's library, a conference facility, cafes, a restaurant and an open-air observation platform in the top part of the structure, all intended to make the building a multi-purpose destination, popular among the locals and tourists alike.
