10 Desk Accessories by 10 Designers

As part of the exhibition Design Made In France Expo, "10 Days 10 Designers" is a challenge that aims to collect and work 10 designers on a common theme for a period of 10 days. Ten young designers were tasked with resurrecting the form; each was given a single slab of solid oak with the brief to create a functional, clean-lined "pocket" to hold onto the stuff that makes for messy workstation. They are exhibited and sold at the event with in line of sight and their limited edition series. The purpose of this contest: show the public the various stages of creation, from the sketch to the object, from the idea to the concrete and lift the veil on the sidelines of the design.
