What you are seeing here is a Lumberjack cake with an edible axe and a plaid pattern inside created by Elizabeth Marek, of the Portland, Oregon-based Artisan Cake Company. This is what Marek wrote on her website “I took a photo of my husband chopping down a tree for Christmas and he was wearing a plaid shirt,” and sh also said “I casually wondered to myself if I could make a cake for lumberjacks. I never thought it would be an Internet sensation.”. What do you think?
