They have carefully taken advantage out of the location of the residence on the slope with the unlimited views while carefully protecting the modern art collection and the owners' furniture, as well as the desert itself.

These divergent conditions have resulted in the elevation of the main living spaces to the upper floor. The great programmatic change has reduced the impact of the construction, as well as reiterated the view of the owners, causing the work to gently touch the ground.

The Miesian glass wall was replaced by a studied array of spotless shadow boxes protecting deeply recessed glass panes. The interior staircase is the centerpiece of the building, contrasting to the formal decor of the atrium, complementing the details of owner's art collection.

The Art collection is housed in a two-story atrium space that connects the entry on the lower level to the living space above, becoming the connective volume that allows the entire living space to breathe and still view the art. Framing the view of the desert below in a perfect unobstructed volume.
