'Stage of forest' by META project

In order to provide and attract winter enthusiasts and skiers the Bejing based architecture firm META project has built a lake resort in the middle of Mongolian oak forest. 

Titled as the 'stage of the forest', this resort is situated in Lake Songhua in the Jilin Province of northeast China. Made with a concrete base and sidings of charred cedar, the resort easily stand to blend with the surrounding mountains. Thus the resort benefits from perfect natural conditions.

The unique triangular shaped stage can serve a variety of events, exhibitions, meetings, workshops and more. When viewed from afar the stage looks as if it's floating above the snowscape
