Skyrocketing technology adoption rates in Japan are hell-bent on transforming everything manual to automated. This time it’s Japan’s analogue vendors waiting to be wiped out, thanks to a new vending machine that takes care of the entire vending business. Dubbed as aCure, the contraption combines two favorite things of the Japanese, vending machines and touchscreens. The newly installed machine at the Shinagawa Station in Tokyo is an impressive display as a result of the collaboration between Samsung with Coca Cola. The vending machine is equipped with a highly interactive 46-inch LCD on its front featuring the choicest drinks. You just have to pick the favorite and get the can.
