Toshiba Libretto W100 review

In celebration of Toshiba’s 25^th anniversary in its laptop business, the company has launched Toshiba Libretto W100. It is out in the market at a special price of $1,099 and its a limited offer only by Tosh. It is simply amazing since it is the first dual screen in the market and it is specifically engineered for ultimate carrying comfort and handheld performance. It is also seen as a threat to Apple’s iPad with its very impressive features.

The 1.2 inch thick libretto W100 is encased in a black brushed aluminum finish, surrounded with a single USB port, an SD card reader and headphone jack. It also comes with a spacious solid state drive for storing your files, photos, music and video clips as well. It has a unique two 7-inch, 1024 x 600 resolution touchscreens that works vertically or horizontally which is perfect for eBooks, watching movies, music and photos. It is also powered by a 1.2GHz IntelPentium U5400 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 64GB SSD and Windows 7 Home Premium as its operating system.

It is really an adorable cute little laptop from Toshiba which only weighs 1.8 lbs that will surely be enjoyed by students and professionals not only because of its incredible features but also because it is very handy or easy to carry. With this great feature you can enjoy many different things such as games, eBooks, music and movies wherever you are.  It also offers easy navigation with its virtual keyboard and soft track pad allowing you to browse anyway you want.

However, during its press launch where an initial unit was shown, there were some issues and concerns regarding its software. Some finds the software quite unstable. With this Toshiba assured everyone that the final unit will be much more refined than the unit shown during the press launch. Toshiba also stressed out that the Libretto W100 intends to capture the attention of “early adopters” and will be for a very limited run.
