At 2012 LA Design Challenge, Mercedes-Benz introduced the new Ener-G-Force G-class fuel cell concept for Highway Patrol Vehicle 2025. This vehicle concept designed to support the environment friendly, off-road, police and emergency services. Styling comes from Mercedes-Benz G-Class, and the original G-Wagen introduced in 1979 as a civilian version of a military vehicle. Other than the commonalities of G-class, it has a recognizable appearance such as sunk-in headlights, turn signals/running lights mounted atop the front fenders, the long, flat roof line and the low and rectangular taillights. It also has a roof rack which looks like a cargo rack that could be used for a safari. [More Info]
