The Slab -Motion Powered Water Resistant Wooden Watch

"The Slab" is a motion powered water resistant wooden watch by Slim timber. Its either 100% stabilized or pressure-treated, re-purposed skateboard wood being used to produce 'The Slab'. Selected 'seven-ply, re-purposed skateboard wood' is vacuumed, submerged in resin to replace the air and then removed & baked to ensure the durability. The Slab comes with a Miyota 8215 automatic watch mechanism which is powered by kinetic energy which can run up to two days when not in use. While giving a life time usage, it is also beautiful and modern. Currently seeks funding at kickstarter.
