Adastra SuperYacht Finally Goes to Seas

This amazing futuristic super yacht was designed by John Shuttleworth Yacht Designs. After 4 years in build by McConaghy boats in Zhuhai China, the fuel efficient 42.5 m Trimaran Adastra was launched into the Pearl River last year has now completed 4000 miles through the Phillipines, Indonesia, and up to Phuket in Thailand. At its economically optimal cruising speed of 10.5 knots, the Adastra can consume as little as 4.4 gallons of fuel per hour. For a 15 passenger vessel (6 crew, 9 guest), that’s an incredible level of efficiency and it is all thanks to its futuristic aero/hydrodynamic design.
