Solar Powered Headphone Charges Your Smartphone

UK based designer Andrew Anderson designed ‘The On Beat Solar Headphones’ that charges your smart phone or tablet while your on the move. Covering the full surface of the headband there is a panel to capture solar energy. The energy is stored in two rechargeable batteries placed in each ear cup. The batteries then charge any smart phone or tablet via the USB port. The headphones is stylish and lightweight which can be folded for compact storage. Fully adjustable headband with super comfortable ear pads and an inline mic on the cable for phone calls and to control your music playback. And for rainy days we also included a charging cable to charge the headphones batteries from a main power supply. Landed at kickstarter with a goal of £200,000.
