Keret House is the world's thinnest dwelling by Jakub Szczesny, designed between two existing buildings measuring 92 centimeters in its narrowest point and 152 centimeters in its widest point, prototype located in Warsaw, Poland. This single occupant livable space represents different historical periods in Warsaw’s history. The architecture sits at the junction of two former ghettos and behaves as the present bandage between two wounds. The installation is underwritten by the polish modern art foundation, which has additionally facilitated a series of artists residencies in the space with the hope that minimal spaces can be re-framed, reinterpreted and understood in a new light.
