Branching Table

Branching Table is designed by San Francisco, Californian based designer Andrei Hakhovich for Gradient Matter. Andrei developed the Branching table, keeping in the mind that the relationships of one person to another as they will sit across each other share the feelings. Part of table geometry was inspired by growing forces in trees and traditional Japanese joinery. Handcrafted from local walnut and ply­boo veneer with Plexiglass inserts. Two mate­ri­als were joined with wood lap joints without use of hardware.
