Created by one of the co founders of Roomba, Joe Jones, Tertill is a solar-powered, weed-destroying, fully autonomous and completely self-contained robot designed for your garden. Put it out there, forget about it (mostly), and it will brutally exterminate any weeds that it can find, as long as they’re short.

The 2.5-pound cylinder will wander around your garden every day. But you won’t have to worry about charging or replacing its batteries—the Tertill is powered entirely by the sun and is completely waterproof.

Tertill can identify the weeds as long as they re short .The Franklin Robotics also offers an additional plant collar to avoid confusion between seedlings and weeds. The Tertill will wander around your garden as long as its enclosed by a barrier.

The Tertill gardening robot costs around $250 on Indiegogo and expects to ship early next year.
