Lotus gives a proper send off to its 3 Eleven line

Marking the occasion of ending its 3 eleven line, the Lotus is planning to launch its last addition which is cut from the same cloth as its previous models.

The Lotus 3 eleven 430 is simple and extreme in every way. The open cockpit roadster will do 0-60 in just 3.1 seconds with a max speed of 180 mph thanks to the 3.5-liter supercharged V6 capable of 430 horsepower and 324 lb-ft of torque sitting under the hood.

The new 3-Eleven 430 is the fastest Lotus road car to lap the challenging Hethel circuit, 0.8 seconds quicker than the second place Exige Cup 430, and two seconds quicker than the previous 3-Eleven, delivering a benchmark time of 1 minute 24 seconds.

It has achieved it lightweight goals from a carbon-composite body and a bespoke extruded and bonded aluminum chassis. The 3 eleven 430 which will be the last of its legacy will only be produced 20 in number and will cost around $143,000 USD.
