launched on Kickstarter by Hedra is the combination of extreme velocity and gravity-defying physics, The Halospheres.
With a mere set of halospheres, steel pipe and a concave spinning plate, these halospheres can reach up to 3600 RPM. The Halospheres start off like any other spinning tops, simply by manually spinning the Halospheres on its plate. And then later additional force is given by blowing into the steel pipe that's included.
They also roll like a wheel, generating a lift force on one half of the Halospheres as it moves through the air, known as the Magnus effect. The reduced friction together with its high relative mass and angular momentum, allows the Halospheres to accelerate to extreme velocities.
Reach out to its Kickstarter campaign to get one of these mesmerizing Halospheres to have a fun spinning time. Pledges starting from $30 and more.
