Aston Martin has officially taken the wraps off of the new 2011 Aston Martin DB9.  While the new Niner sports only a mild face lift, a car this beautiful didn’t need much work in the first place.  Beyond the design botox, the 2011 Aston Martin DB9 is powered by the same 470 hp 6.0-Liter V12 engine, keeping this car’s focus evenly split between high class luxury and race-worthy performance.  Speaking of which, the 2011 DB9 won’t be available in a sport option– they’ve upgraded the base model with an adaptive damping system for a big boost in handling, in line with the Aston Martin Rapide and DBS models.  Production has already started on the 2011 Aston Martin DB9, and it’ll start shipping to customers in a few weeks for a cool $185,000.  [aston martin viaautoblog]
