Well-known automobile manufacturer Audi has just revealed the Audi Urban Concept the night before the opening day of the Frankfurt International Motor Show. This concept comes in both Sportback and Spyder form and it will be making its official debut at the Frankfurt International Motor Show. This motor show is really a good opportunity for us to see the latest offerings by the biggest automobile manufacturers in the world and also a great time to see car prototypes and concepts as well. And this is what Audi and other automobile manufacturers are exactly doing.
Basically, the Audi Urban concept is referred to by Audi as a completely new kind of concept car. Well, this only shows that Audi is trying to break new grounds and open a new market to its car offerings with the Audi Urban concept. This concept is actually a study on how little vehicles are needed for the urban areas and the result is a vehicle that redefines the concept of driving pleasure as it concentrates more on the freedom of driving in a premium form rather than any conventional concept. In addition to this, it also offers a sleek body and free standing wheels that provide the safety and comfort of a closed automobile.

In this Audi concept car, two passengers will sit in a fighter-jet looking vehicle that comes with a rollback canopy in place of doors. In addition to this, it also features a design and finish that shows Audi’s attention to details and its technology shows the company’s experience and expertise when it comes to automobiles especially when it comes to ultralight construction. This is also the reason why Audi has managed to keep its weight at 480 kilograms.This Audi Urban concept vehicle is equipped by a pair of 20 horsepower electric motors that is powered by a 7.1 kWh lithium ion battery with a range of about 45 miles. These motors are mounted on between the rear wheels and transversely behind the seats. Additionally, the urban concept also accelerated from 0 to 62 mph in only 16.9 seconds and top speed is around 62mph.
