Hand Carved Eggshell Sculptures

Sculpture is something carving or modeling that already exists. Traditionally this was used in stone, metal, ceramics, wood and other materials but, since modernism, shifts in sculptural process led to an almost complete freedom of materials and process. American sculptor Beth Ann Magnuson creates unusual by carving the eggshells. She uses chicken, peafowl, turkey, duck, pheasant, partridge and quail eggs to carve these sculptures.
