Morgan will roll out 50 models to celebrate the anniversary of plus 8

The famous motor car company Morgan, has decided to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its iconic car plus 8 by rolling out 50 models that are specifically designed to the Plus 8 's standards.

The new plus 8 will use the BMW naturally-aspirated V8 engines which will mark the end of the Morgan plus 8 line. The new edition weighs only 1,100 kg. The unit is rated at 367 horsepower and 370 pound-feet of torque. And charges from 0 to 62 mph in only 4.5 seconds, to go with a top speed of 155 mph.

The new plus 8 will be available in two striking color schemes and two specifications – blue ‘speedster style’ with an open cockpit, or green ‘traditional convertible’ with a soft-top in order to celebrate the tradition.

The new model of the Morgan Plus 8 will be marketed at a price of  £107,500 excluding local taxes.
